X5 or VW Touareg?

I am currently looking to replace my E91 335d with either of the above, basically because we are starting to struggle room wise with the E91 which is a shame as I love the car otherwise,

Reason for choosing a 4x4 is I tow a Brian James twin axle trailer with an old Disco TD5 but I'd prefer to just have 1 car that does the family duties and towing, and have a cheap snorter for work

Budget is 12-13k as I dont want to borrow any further, driven both and like both but I'm still undecided which is the better car

Both will be 3.0d as we do 15-20k per year

Touareg because it looks less like a drug dealers car.

I have a Touareg - had it from new, for 5 years - it's been flawless. Well built, good to drive, relaxing. 28mpg from the 3.0VD TDi.

Cheaper to buy than an X5, and you won't look like a drug dealer.

The X5 is the better car in every respect.
