Just wanted to let everyone know that Newquay Motorclub are running a sprint on August 11th and 12th at Portreath in Cornwall.

For the last 2 years it has been run by Southhams Motorclub and was an excellent weekend with 7-8 runs on both days.

There are a few local campsites nearby, with beer, food and some silly fools jibbering on about motorsport!

why not treat yourself to a mucky weekend in cornwall....

Take a look at http://www.newquayautoclub.co.uk/ for more info

Hi, been watching this develop on Facebook...

Just wondered where else you guys race/drive? I'm considering my retirement from quad bike racing and would like to get into some car based activity. Obviously living in Cornwall things are somewhat limited, and I wondered how far you have to travel to get the most out of your rides?

Torbay, Newquay, Southhams, and Plymouth Motor clubs are all work a look a too.

Portreath would be a great start, as we got 7-8 runs a day on previous sprints. Its also fairly flowing and you can normally get away with the odd spin (I've never done that!).

If you fancy it you'll need to get your regs in ASAP.

Have fun

Be a while before I'm trackside. Still got two quads in the garage, and don't know where to start car wise. Something road legal, something track based etc etc???

Need to have a chat with a few people in the know.
