And at the other end of the scale....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Chimaera-/2710104975...

Maybe not like for like, but that's a hell of a price span for a car than hasn't been manufactured for years!

Don't knock it. If that's the way prices are going now that they are finally not being manufactured anymore then I for one will be a happy bunny.

Meanwhile, back in the real world.....

Ah 'Fernies'. They have always been optimistic on price.

Where's Flasher when you need him...

Who? hehe

Thing is though, you do pay over the odds but you get a good car and superb after sales service in my experience anyway

wavey How are you Phil?

I'm sure you do. Let me guess, along with the inspection report from Rob Dingleberry stating "this car has strong performance in contrast to other models"?

I know Fernies have many fans, but v early in my TVR days I wasn't overly impressed.

I'm good fella. Still stuck in the grim wastelands of the North but all good mate. How's life with you and yours? Still got the old Chim then? Haven't driven a Tiv in a while now, got used to going around corners these days but still miss the old thumping engine smile

We are all good thanks, yes Chim going strong and a Cerb too now so spoilt for choice.

I'd heard you had a flat cap, a whippet and taken up hairdressing? I'm in Halifax once a month, should probably stay up there one night and perhaps we can have a beer?

Aye lad, aye. Flat cap certainly, dished a few more out to PHers in the last few weeks. Hairdressing has been and gone mate. Back to Lotus now. Missed 'em too much.

Beer sounds a plan mate. Give me a shout next time you are heading up, be great to see you.

Hello mate! Another old timer! Glad you finally got one. Is Ros still around? Amazed she sold up. Be good to hear from her too, her name cropped up in the "Where are they now" thread that popped up a few days ago. Get her to email me if you are still in touch. smile

Don't know about Phil but as far as I know she dropped off the radar. I do believe she even asked for her profile to be removed.

I still say we should an 'Alternative BTaP' with the old gang.

Blimey, that seems a bit drastic. Have a few emails of old so will dig them out and drop her a line.

Re a reunion, I was only talking to Flasher the other week about the idea of a Pistonfest style weekend of camping somewhere for the old crew. Problem is that we have spread out far and wide now. Whilst I'm only 4 hours from home up Norf, Dusty and Cuzza are now in Toronto, Craid and Simon are in Dubai, a few other of the old guard are now down in Australia, so perhaps we should just arrange our reunion at a camping event like Le Mans! If you 'do' Facebook, add me on there mate and we can start a group chat about a get together...
