Where to go for wheel alignment?
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
Just had my car back from a service, my mechanic thinks the toe angle needs adjusting on the car. Where is a good place to go? I don't actually know of anywhere that does it, I'm in Woking, but don't mind travelling around the county. Where do you guys recommend and how much will it cost?

Search for your local hunter equipped place plus they have a £5 off voucher
I use wheels in motion but they're a bit far from you, depending on how serious you are on the subject (not many better IMO)

They have a Hunter system and did my 5.7 VXR just this week. A bit pricy but very good friendly service. They proactively contacted Hunter to get the right settings for the car and gave me a full print out before and after.

How much did you pay? They've quoted me £102 all in to do my 3-Series, seems steep. They have a Hunter system and did my 5.7 VXR just this week. A bit pricy but very good friendly service. I can recommend Merityre, although I use the Bagshot not the Woking branch. They do the alignment on my race car (woohoo, lucky me) every other month so you could say I'm a regular customer of theirs. Well, compared to most anyway. They have a full four wheel laser alignment system and will do an alignment check for free (use the voucher from their website or ask nicely) and then charge about £65 IIRC for any changes required - last time round, this meant toe and camber adjustments on every corner on my car.
You also get a before & after printout of all the settings.
Only 30 minutes and £40? What car do you have and what adjustments are available?
My MX-5 has adjustable front toe, camber & castor and rear toe & camber. It's never taken much than less an hour to get it all adjusted right and always costs around £100. Mind you, I do get it set to much tighter tolerances than Mazda suggest. I always use Wheels in Motion. It's a bit of a trek but they know their stuff.
