CheeRS for the heads up smile I guess they're probably replacing the pumps or similar as they seemed to always have some closed off with maintenance vans in there the last couple of times i've filled up in recent weeks.

Looks like i'll have to head to Aldershot for some Momentum99 for the next few weeks then.

Cheers for that. It's the only place I can get the 99 RON stuff. Luckily I don't do many miles currently so I should be able to last.

Does not seem that many years ago they rebuilt it... (probably is though!)

Up at the Meadows earlier and they're in full swing ripping out all the old pumps.

Couldn't believe how many people were still driving round and seemed surprised that the petrol station was actually closed. One old gent a few cars in front of me decided to came to a complete halt nearly causing an accident with the car behind him, and got out of the car to try to get the attention of one of the workmen to ask why it was closed, even though it's fairly obvious.

Tesco's do seem to be spending some money on the store what with the new tarmac in the main car park, although they've obviously got a liking for woodstained timber.

Does anybody know why shopping trolleys need a roof? They look like smoking shelters now - very strange!

Funny you should say that as when i was there the other week and it was raining, 3 of the eastern european car washers were sat in one smoking - judging by the smell i don't think it was a B&H they were enjoying laugh
