South East based and want to learn car control? Try these Rally guys at Subaru Rally Experience.

You get lots of sideways fun in rear wheel drive and four wheel drive rally cars with tuition and plenty of time behind the wheel.

Just off the M25.

When we did their half day course it was £160 but we also got got a discount by booking for 5 of us on the same day - so it was really good value.

Many TD companies have cars you can hire for the day as well as instruction. Bookatrack.com being one such.

I have been on a few of the super car ones and you are right they are great fun but the price is a little hard to justify. However last year my dad and I went on a drift day with Westfield for a couple of hundred and it was great! They also do circuit days- just have to make sure you book well in advance:

Heres a video of the kind of stuff you get up to on the drift days:

Rent a car for the day (or half day) is the best bet for max seat time/enjoyment.

Most of the organised stuff gives you very driving time.

Seeing as you already have an ok ish car (okay I admit it I'm jealous) why not try www.carlimits.com very good reputation among the lotus community or something similar which would be both fun and training.

Don't know whether this helps with your decision Rob, but here is an article I wrote a while back about choosing a driving experience.

Incredible day out and incredible value. I've done it 20 times now and would do it again tomorrow if I could! I've yet to do it this year sadly!!!
