Wipers finally sorted

It's taken a while but I think I'll settle with my current setup.

I've tried Aero blades from Valeo and integrated my spray bar into them but they just don't work that well.

I've now fitted Bosch Super Plus 19s/20 wiper pack from Halfords (£19.99)

I'm very pleased with the results. Washer fluid can be directed with each one of the 4 jets per wiper arm and the fitment is very small. The Bosch blades are not dragging on the screen like all the others I've fitted.

So far so good.

Looks like a good idea. I have the vero blade and its fine. I only use one and I put a 21" on. It does most of the window and takes some load off the motor (I had to give in a get a motor from Noble years ago as I could not locate the correct part, VW bettle apparently?)

I might get one to clip on, how does the pipe connect to our system?

I tried the single blade option too but really didn't like the look. Especially with the bracket that's left behind.

The Bosch blades appear free flowing and don't drag as much as the Valeo ones on a dry windscreen.

The Storm wash system comes with all the pipework you need. Same size of tubes currently in use. It feeds through the wiper arm spring using a thin pipe which joins to a thicker pipe to connect to the existing system. If I found it easy anybody can do it !

Interesting. What do you mean "connects to the existing system"?

My car already had l-shaped plastic joining pieces that were suitably sized for the connection of the new tubes. My old system was a spray bar that sat flat on top of the wiper.

Thanks, so where does the water exit the frame? The photo doesn't show this.

I LIKE the single wiper look, but admittedly, the resulting bracket is a bit of an eye sore. Maybe the answer is for Tux to make a Carbon drip tray that covers that bracket for those who run only one wiper?

Since i fitted my new blades, the car has not left the garage. Also, think i have only used the 'squirters' once in a whole year so not sure i can be bothered with this.

That is of course, until i see them on Craig's car - like everything else

Pipe runs from T-piece near washer bottle all the way along, through the spring of the wiper arm, up the wiper arm and connects to a tiny piece of black plastic that clips onto the wiper arm frame. This clip has 4 adjustable washer jets. The clip can be moved up and down the frame before you secure the pipework with the supplied plastic ties.

Sounds like you have a different system to mine then. I had a spray bar that slides into the wiper blade.

I agree, please can we have some pics of how it connects. I have the plastic trip tray (carbon dipped )

Bosche seem to be the best, although I am still playing the game on the passenger side of the lateral angle of the end hook to stop the plastic mount slapping against the windscreen. I've stopped it on one side, but can't quite get the balance to stop it on the other side yet.

The issue seems to be the hooks are a bit narrow so there is some slack, so I mught just increase the width a bit with something.
