As mine has decided to jettison its diaphragm springs while driving around the Le Mans circuit.... Anyone know of sources for the AP clutch? Or is it a Power, RG, CT, RT supplied part only?

Prices seem quite ridiculous from them all.

I contacted AP directly and they said that Power were their sales agent.

As it turned out I bought from RG.

Yeah quite odd. AP state TVR supplied only on their site, yet TVR no longer exist.

Power are licenced for the logo, brand etc I thought so fair enough you can get them there yet the other part suppliers also supply them.

Unless they buy from Power?

Or can any AP distributor supply them? confused

I live local to AP Racing in Coventry and have asked them on 2 occasions to supply me a Cerbera clutch, they will not do this and you have to purchase them from an authorised TVR parts supplier such as Power or RG etc.

I am the cheapest owner here, seriously I am so cheap...

However £550 for the whole twin disc clutch pack seems pretty good value to me.

£513.59 from Power and I must be cheaper than you! wink

Plus the more I save on clutches means the more I can spend on Lightweight flywheels and master cylinders.

Ridds, I've got two complete clutches in the garage, one of which looks to be new, albeit with some very light surface rust on the friction face which would clean off.

Ping me a PM or something if they're of any interest to you.

I'll need a new one soon as well. I have one that has done under 5K but has always been slightly juddery. So when my engine is replaced I will probably put an AP one back in. £519 doesnt sound too bad.
