I paid my deposit on a new T350c at the weekend (very nice people at Racing Green by the way!) and while there was shown an e-mail from the factory informing of the delay to Sagaris and Typhon deliveries and also that there will soon be price increases across the whole TVR range. So if you're on the verge of placing an order, do it soon!

Wonder if that will push the second-hand prices up too?...

Without wishing to p155 on anyone's chips, but if my car was anything to go by (1996) , the price on your order form & the price of the car when manufactured, may be two different items.

To quote tvr's bulletin to the dealers "any customers who query the price will simply need to be informedthat since the initial launch of the cerbera in 1993, the specification has totally changed"

Deposit paid 271093 car arrived 160896

Cerbera Deposit paid Motorshow 94, car and options prices HELD until delivery Nov 96. Price had risen to £38K by that stage.

T350T Deposit paid Motorshow 2002, car and options prices HELD until delivery Autumn 2003.

Typhon Deposit paid Motorshow 2004, car price to be held.....

So I really am puzzled by what you are saying - unless your dealer ripped you off of course!

Well, looks like the improvements that the new (Russian) broom is sweeping in, are to be paid for by the customer. No real surprise there, surely?

Plus, the Tamora (for example) is still listed at £36500, which is the same price I was quoted when I put a deposit down at the motor show in 2000 - so, not bad really.
