Car leasing...to do or not to do
Discussion
Ive always bought my cars myself but after continual looking for another car my priorities have now changed and am looking to tie more of my money up in funding other ventures.
I do basic urban driving and a big Range Rover was just overkill with 10mpg etc for doing 20miles per day. I was looking for a 911 C2s or a TDv8 but when i thought about it what is the point considering how much time i spend in my car...which took me to the world of car leasing.
I was thinking of getting a bigger car for the wife (R Class or similar for the kids)and a smaller car for myself...a daily driver with cheap running costs etc. I cam across a deal for the new MB SLK 250 CDI, £179+VAT pm and am tempted. I'll be around £10-£15 pw on fuel, cheap road tax and a monthly cost for leasing of £200...
Im still unsure if the SLK is still too "girly" but i do like the SLS inspired shape...not really sure what to do...anyone been in my situation have any constructive feedback?
