Say one was to take a wonder some 'fine summer evening' (Some bloody hope) in either direction, west or east from Brighton, to a pretty, scenic destination and then relax and take in a proper decent fish supper... say within a 50ish mile radius of Brighton; where would you imaginative lot suggest?

Cheers.

Head north west, A272 and stop at the chippie in Petworth - was lovely last time we were there, admittedly a few years ago though.

Been there, actually been to most of them, not a massive fan of the fish part to be honest.

The best fish and chips ever was in Seahouses, I actually think they had battered a small whale, but I didn't get long coz a great big fk off seagull decided he wanted it more than me!

Bit of a road trip to get there though.

Seahouses! That's 'kin miles away!

I like this idea though, there's Micks burger van on top of Portsdown Hill, its not great but its a fab spot.

I used to like Mother Kelley's at Portchester, not been for years though.

I'm not aware of places further east.

Google reckons about 7.5 hours - you'd have to be hungry!
