The drivers side is a joke. Due to the long length of the buckle its fastened halfway up my gut. The passenger side is fine though. Question is what car are these common with? I bought what i thought looked like the right one but its not the same. Has anyone got a short buckle going spare?

It seems standard in the early cars to have one short and one long buckle part Russell. Mine did and when I was researching this I found it quite common.
Anybody considering putting Cerbera seats into their Griff who has the mismatched pair should bite your hand off for the long one and do you a swap. They'll need a pair of long ones to make the buckle ends come up past the bolster, which the shorter one won't.
Securon sell replacements. You'll just need to do some measuring of the one you want.
