quick question: Through or Round Rouen on way to Le Mans?

as per subject - off on hols tomorrow and via Michelin takes me through Rouen which ive heard to be a not the cleverest....do people take the A29 to Le Havre and then back round to join A28 to Le Mans?

Go round it - it can be a total shocker getting through, depending on what time you hit it

Everyone will have their favourite route, including sitting in the traffic through the industrial side of Rouen. Our favoutite 'fast detour' is as follows:

- Off A28 at Neufchatel-en-Bray
- A29 towards Le Havre
- Exit at Yvetot, take D131 south towards Pont de Brotonne
- D490 over Pont de Brotonne (impressive bridge)
- D913/313 continue south towards Bourg Achard
- Rejoin A28

That sounds like a good route! Saying that we have tried all sorts and this yr just went straight through Rouen no problem at all...
