Toyo tire compounds
Discussion
Have finally worked out Toyo's compound labeling system.. SG = soft
2G = medium hard
3G = medium soft
Have the 2G's on my HPC, and have had for 3 years... and 8 track days.. fantastic tires with incredible grip. but too durable no matter how hard i abuse them.. So am wondering what the SG's would be like! anyone tried them?
Am hoping there actually soft enough for a Caterham as have never found a tire to suit it properly, they all seem to be for 1 or 2 ton cars so very hard.
Also the 2G'S "peel off" or bead off on track, is this overheating or just normal for track use?
