TVR Trident for Mr Tank
Discussion

This car is owned by one of by parents old neighbours, whilst delivering papers one evening as a young lad i came across it and its owner after a chat about it, i managed to get a lift in it back to my parents house, he had just sold his ferrari dino to buy it, i saw it a couple of years ago sat in his garage under the dino car cover he must of kept from his old car, he was not in but his wife said it did not get used much, some thing to do with he did not want to damage it, was unable to replace the windscreen, anyway its still there.

This one was for sale about 2 years ago on ebay its not original, my old metal work teacher from high school and his brother owned it and did a little bit of a custom job on it, they changed the front lights, the rear lights are from a porsche 924 and various other bits, not sure if it sold, it appeared twice on ebay not sure about price, Mark.

I would be interested in the top one, the bottom car maybe if they still had the original bits so it could be put back into original condition!
Have you any details or contact names/numbers etc!
My collection is really based on cars from the PW time , but this is such a great car that I would have to have ago at one!

I snapped this one in Switzerland in 2010. It looked absolutely beautiful.

I would be more than a little surprised if Norman would part with his Trident.
Iv'e not seen it for a few years, a stunning much loved well cared for car.
Andy, you can only ask, I was always told it very much wasn't for sale.
Chris.

I did sell my Dino and bought a Trident Venturer, which was also red and was the car you saw under the Dino's cover and you had a ride in. Your old maths teacher (and I think earlier he had been a cop - Dave Smith?) did have a Trident Clipper, which went on to get customised whilst belonging to Ken Morgan, who ran the Trident Car Club but sadly succumbed to cancer many years ago. The car pictured here is not my Trident Venturer however, as I sold that in 1986 to finance this, which is a genuine TVR Trident, No. 3 out of the 4.
