Mirrors on a Vixen
Discussion
When I purchased DGG she came with a pair of very tasteful (Urrggh
) door mirrors. Not wanting to replace with 'bullet' style mirrors, they always gave me the impression of being a bit aftermarket, the
had to go whilst I looked for something else. In the meantime a couple of 'Goodwood Revival' car stickers would have to cover the fixing holes in the door. Actually they looked quite good.
Came across a 'Classic Italian style' (so the seller said
) which I liked. So now fitted and well pleased. Also decided that I wanted to keep the Goodward stickers which has meant I could mount these in a position where they show the car behind me rather than the tree tops in some field over to my right. All in all a rather successful (if personal taste) day.

PS : this is a photo of DGG when new. The mirrors are like nothing else I've seen and certainly not something I'd want to put back. Hey ho... taste is personal.
