Utter Numpty bunch on M8 this afternoon
Discussion
Combined rant and heads up for anyone that may spot the numpty bunch.
Just made my way back from Glasgow along M8 at around 2pm.
Got to EuroCentral area and could see traffic bunching and lots of brake lights, cars moving lanes etc.
After coasting up to traffic I noticed a red VW Golf/Polo that looked like it had been dropped from a tower block, so low you couldn't see under it. Wheels at about 15-20 degree camber. Another few similar around it all in L1.
White Astra Tdi was in between a couple.
As I passed by the queue on inside lane (me in L2) Astra lad, complete with broken driver seat look, decided to try and force his way between me and van in front of him.
Another one of the bunch in a Toyota Glanza started accelerating towards the queue in front, then slamming brakes on, talking a 20mph speed difference to a queue that was there when he pulled out.
A teal Corsa, again lowered to scraping point then started forcing its way between other cars and drove between lanes with a gap of about 1m to cars in front, all this at approx 65mph.
A couple of others were doing similar, a white VW van, a blue VW van with roof box were most noticeable.
Blue VW van then decided to drive alongside the white van at 40mph for about a minute, each of them edging towards each other.
Once blue van eventually pulled over I decided to pass and put a bit of distance between us all. Nothing fast just firm acceleration (had GF and her 88 yr old granny in car) till there was a decent gap then eased off again.
At this point Astra and Glanza decided to race each other, maybe trying to involve me? Before slamming brakes on and in Glanza case pulling across front of me, in Astra case the front of an HGV.
Fortunately I was coming off at J5 Shotts so didn't have to put up with them anymore.
All the VWs were practically on the floor, the white van was rubbing its arches. Astra looked like it was running on coal with thick black reek and an awful sound coming out of it.
If you happen to spot them on the road, watch out for nonsense. If anyone somehow knows them, tell them to stick to McD car parks.

Worst rollin' with ma homies thread ever.
Sadly the roads are getting worse places to be. During the week I came to a halt at a red (not amber changing to red) traffic light only for the car behind to overtake me and go through. Thankfully nobody had booted from the lights on their turn. Clown!
