He'd be in his 80s and far too old to drive (according to PH).

Mcqueen was the king of cool. Wtf would he drive an "Im a tt" machine like the Zonda? That is almost the antithesis of cool motoring.

I think he would still have been tooling round in the SS, but with suitable and subtle upgrades...

Of course it's a question with no right answer, but I don't think you are right to think he wouldn't go for a Zonda or something similar.

Steve McQueen was quite fond of Ferraris too and often had them repainted in his preferred colours.

I think he would have enjoyed a very personalised Zonda.

He liked aircraft too, I think he spent a lot of time living in his aircraft hangar in later life...

He'd be under a sponsorship deal with Ford.

  • So, a Bullet Mustang (as "launched" by his son Chad)
  • A Ford GT
  • the current new Ford

No he didnt like hypercars. Mcqueen drove effortless stylistic cars and they werent blingy. His Ferraris were uber classy. A Zonda is yelling "LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".

Thats the opposite of Mcqueen. Of the modern crop of high performance motors, it would be a 911 GT2 RS I think, dark colour, no letting, stealth Darth.

And a Ford GT.

It's interesting, but I don't regard Paganis as anywhere nearly as gauche and bling as a Ferrari.

Most people don't know what they are.
