DTA ECU Software

I'm in the middle of a project for someone that involves transfering an engine and ECU into another car.
The ECU in question is an old DTA unit with round connectors on it. May be an EXP48?
We have been having trouble talking to the ECU as before removing it from the donor car it developed a fault. I made progress today in that the software recognises the ECU is connected but will not talk to it as it requires version 21 on the ECU but only has version 2! (yes its that old...)
So i'm hoping someone may have an old copy of DTAwin that is compatible with older models. The website doesnt have software back that far

Any help appreciated before the ECU gets scrapped.

DTAWin is available on the website, and the newer versions of the software should still work with old firmware

Thats where I downloaded from earlier, Unfortunatly backwards compatability doesnt seem to be the case..


Oh and its version 9 not 2 as I said earlier, 2 was whats written on the case

Ask over on the DTA forum, some guys there will use DTAWin and may have some older versions.

I havent used it for years, and must have deleted everything I had.

Failing that, DTA are usually very helpful and would probably upgrade the firmware for very little cost if they dont have any old versions of the software available.

Give them an email, although they do usually shut down for 2-3 weeks during the summer.
