Been here for qualifying yesterday as well, dismal turnout. Alot of teams have pulled out, but the pre 66 touring cars were worth watching. Walked round the track to starkeys bar, bastid was shut. Hope there are more spectators today as there were only a handful yesterday !
They made a hell of a noise for 13 cars!! I live just down the road and the house was practically shaking all day. Almost made up for not being able to go
I was there, quite an enjoyable race despite the lack of cars. The number of cars/circuit length ratio was probably very close to Le Mans! Welcome break in the rainy weather too, got a spot of subnburn to show for it.
It's not so much the series has been cancelled, just the Brno and Portimao rounds (along with the Zolder round earlier in the year), the series will now conclude at the Petit Le Mans ALMS race in October.
