Even though it has been sitting in storage, the Griff sailed through MOT again this morning.

Most of it's less than three years old - you ought to get a free pass.
Do not pass Go. Do not take £200.

my last MOT after the chassis rebuild was quite funny.

tester said i needed to do all the controls, cos last time he got into a TVR, he couldnt get out.

then he disappeared, after a few mins, I went to see what he was doing, he was cleaning the tools and his jack pads, cos he didnt want to get my car dirty!

he did find a couple things to tweek, I had a tiny bleed on a brake caliper, but he insisted doing them then and there.......and I left with a pass....

really nice when you go to an old school garage that is more interested in real safety, not just beurocracy.
