Need new rear discs.

Any suggestions for an alternative to getting fleeced £400 by Power?

Vauxhall Movano ones are very close, but not close enough...

Commission some and arrange a group buy?

I find it hard to believe that TVR did not just pull the rear discs off the shelf. Someone must know what they were from.

I believe that all the brake disks were custom made by AP Racing for TVR - they are not a standard item. I have done extensive research to find equivalents and been unsuccessful. If you have better luck let us know!!

BG developments did a lot of the work. They also did all of JE engineerings special discs etc. they also have made all of our one off brake parts on the race car.

They would be the people to talk too. I would buy a pair.

bg are walking distance from my house, i took advice from them on my tuscan r ear disks and they skimmed them up for me. They do anything from bespoke one offs to small runs im sure they would help. When i asked if they could supply new disks for the tuscan tho they were the same as camskill. . .

So Brummie,

far be it from me to take you up on your exceedingly generous offer but if you check here then you will find that we already have 10 potential takers.

Could you do that for us ??

Okay...Better put my money where my mouth is! smile

I will pop to Dyno Torque and grab one of my old ones and see Bob.
We have met before as we are in the brake game, he does nasty AP racing brake pads wink
I need to go and collect cheques/drop more pads that way, so leave it with me.

Hi

I have put my name to the list for a set of rear disc.

Just a question, if we can do this for the rears can it be done for the fronts so people can keep there original set up?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I don't keep up with this forum as much as I should!

You can buy separate rotors that fit the original two piece setup, so nothing to do there bar spending the cash and making up a small spacer for the calipers (assuming you have a 4.5)
