996 3.6 Carrera 4 - Engine Management Re-mapping

Hi,

Does any one have any experience of Engine Management Re-mapping on a 996?

I am considering it for my 996 3.6 Carrera 4, maybe by DMS Automotive:

I was just wondering if anyone has anyone has any help/advice on any alternatives!?

Prob not worth it, they claim 24bhp extra. Porsche's own X51 kit only generates an extra 25bhp at a cost of £8.5k and that involves modified heads, cams, inlet, exhaust and a remap. I have the X51 fitted to my C4S and its hard to really tell the difference against a std car. The extra performance hardly rips your pants off
