Yay, I have just discovered I have hedgehogs in my garden which is great.
However, I have also discovered they are noisy f#ckers! They have been doing either a bizarre mating ritual or pretend fight for 2 hours now.
I have fed them, separated them and still they keep me awake grrr.
The one is making a loud snuffling noise whilst the other walks around it in circles. Are they going to get jiggy or do I have to chuck one over next doors fence to shut them up

The first time you hear a hedgehog crashing about in your shubbery in the early hours it can be quite alarming! I like the fact they are impervious to anything else - they wander about at will while the cats, of which there are many around here (no rodent gets through), have no option but to let them pass. Nothing in a cat's toolbox for that one.

My cat used to get totally revved up by hedgehogs and would run madly around the garden then jump over them repeatedly. They paid bugger all attention after the first time. No idea why she did it but it was damn funny. Op....baby hedgehog possibility - very cool!!
