What's the best way to remove a sticker from the bodywork?

I want to replace my PH sticker with a smaller one, as I have the old style one. What's the best way of getting it off the bodywork without causing damage?

Hairdryer and t-cut has worked for me.

Boil the kettle and pour very hot water over the sticker, lift up an edge of the sticker, then pour v hot water on to the area as you gently lift the sticker off.

This softens the glue and the plastic becomes less brittle it should come straight off.

Any glue residue will come off with tar-remover / thinners / etc.

The Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover is supposed to be good for that too, although I'd probably just use a hairdryer.
