hi guys, i had the fuel tank swopped over a couple of months ago & the specialist used the sender unit that came with the tank, my original one had the low warning light connector snapped off, my fuel gauge now reads full all the time now but today whilst out in the car the low fuel light came on whilst showing full still. if i take the sender unit out is there a gasket between sender & the tank or is it some sort of sealant? is there much to go wrong with the sender unit or am i better off buying a new one? forgot to add my old sender unit read correctly so i know the gauge is fine. many thanks in advance. paul.
