Mobile Tyre Fitting

I used etyres last week to fit 4 x 19' Michelin PS2's (supplied by myself) to my Audi
They charged £90 and the guy left two of the tyres under inflated (enough for the TPMS light to be on) and seem to have taken my silver metal valve caps and replaced them with black plastic ones
You should have the specific grey tyre valves with TPMS hence why your light is on.They charged £90 and the guy left two of the tyres under inflated (enough for the TPMS light to be on) and seem to have taken my silver metal valve caps and replaced them with black plastic ones

Looking to put new tyres on my 4x4. Tempted with the mobile services (eg. Tyre Fit Direct, or eTyres) as prices are good and they are very convenient. Does anyone have any horror stories with these guys? Appreciate thoughts and advice.
Many thanks!
On the contrary. I would not take my company car to a KwikFit shop, but I would (and do!) let their mobile fitters work on it.Many thanks!
Rationale? They can't let a 17-year old kid do the mobile thing, but they can (and usually do) let them go nuts in the shop.
I've always found the mobile guys tend do be older, and have a bit of savvy about them. It might just be the guys who work around here but they tend to have been doing it for a while.
This is in addition to not having to sit in a KwikFit while they work on your car.
I can't see a downside really, assuming you want to use KwikFit at all (I'm forced to for the company car as it's policy for the leasing company).
For my own cars (which tend to be faster toys), I care less about cost than about quality so I tend to prefer this sort of company.

I've used Etyres three times (tyres for my Volvo, MR2 and Impreza). Superb service from my local fitter (Jeremy in the Newcastle area), a top bloke who knows his cars and tyres well. Never a problem getting tyres fitted either at home or at work, and no more expensive than going to a tyre fitter's shop for new tyres.
I've used both e-tyres and Event tyres on several occasions, and barring the time before last (young guy who was a bit of a jack the lad - over tightened nuts on the MX-5 and damaged the sill with lazy jacking) they have been brilliant and cheap.
The only time in the last 10 years I have had tyres fitted at a garage they damaged the wheels, used knock on weights on the alloys, and overtightened them so much I broke 2 wheel nut keys getting them off.
