Off to Paris on fri for the start of our honeymoon, can someone recommend a good restaurant for snails. I've been looking at l escargot monreile but I've been reading that there are good restaurants off the tourist route that do just as good food for less.

My recommendation is to steer clear of Paris.

I can't help you with snails, but I can heartily recommend La Belle Villoise for a Sunday brunch. It's tucked out of the way but it's incredible and well worth the trip. You will need to book.

Yes please mate, though we won't be changing her name on documents etc till we are back from honeymoon

Paris usually goes by If you can see the eiffel tower from the restaurant add 30% . Eat in the restaurant a few streets from the main areas and you will save yourself a decent chunck and because its france still get decent food.

Vixpy, when me and the wife got engaged we went to a lovely little restaurant called L'Jardin D'Ivy on Rue Mouffetard.

The food was divine for the price.
