Just thought I would start this post to see who is going to The BMW National festival at Gaydon 19/08/2012.

Let me know if you are going and what you will be taking.

Bmw are celebrating 40 years of motorsport, so my vote goes for the M5.

Be good to see your D/S at Gaydon, I'll try and get Simon Nunn to come with his 2002, he can make sure your looking sfter that interior!

Might be along to this, also going to UBMW in September. Are the cars there generally the same ones I've never been to Gaydon?

I may well go. Would love to have my car on show as its a individual model but don't feel its up to the standard atm. Needs a pro detail to get rid of some scratches in the laquer that my hand buftyness can't remove and i only ever show cars when i feel they're up to my idea of excellent.
Have to see if i can get the money together to have it done as also having the mv2's refurbed in couple week time and may aswell replace the tyres at same time.

Any good detailers/paint correction specialists in Essex area on here?

Get it on show it doesn't have to be perfect as you'll most aren't!

I do fancy putting it on show. What stand are you going to have yours on? I've not yet been to a bmw show but i remember when i used to go to ford shows you have to be in a club that had a stand at the show to get into the 'showground' with your car.

I'll be there, going with my old man so we are taking both the E90 which will be parked with the South East Region and the E30 which will be with the E30 Register.

Looking forward to this event, always a great show if you like your BM's
