fuel problem with my S

I have been having a problem with the running of my s it first of all had a noisy fuel pump so I replaced it seemed ok then it completely gave up the ghost one day innevitably miles away from home!!!so I checked the relay,my suspicions were emediatly aroused when I tipped it upside down and water ran out,so I obvously replaced thatit now starts ok but runs for about 5/10 seconds then cuts out I`ve tried sveral times it does the same thing every time.any ideas!!!!

heres a little tip: dont ever go to a BP garage when they have 'double nectar points' promotions on, they put signs all over the pumps & it is very easy to confuse ultimate unleaded with ultimate DIESEL.

i found out the hard way.

this doesnt improve the running much short term, but did oil many dry parts along the way!! sorry i cant help with yours.
