Ouch indeed. Am I right to be thinking schoolboy error?
If you are thinking "The prat steered onto the grass at 130mph" then you wouldn't be too far wrong. It looks like he actually put some right lock on, in the middle of that crazy fast left. The driving wasn't great anyway - most of the slower corners he was going in too fast and then correcting quite sharply to hit the apex. Not a quick way to drive.YouTube blurb said:
Getting it wrong on the fastest part of the track - not good! Both driver and passenger walked away unhurt due to having the correct safety gear. Without the helmets, cage, seats, and harnesses it could have been a very different ending.
Without the helmets, cage, seats, and harnesses it could have been a very different ending, er no it wouldn't.Dr Interceptor said:
After 1st contact with the barrier, he spins back across the track, then back onto the grass. Glad he did the right thing and checked there were no fluid spills there before motoring on.
Ah? He pulls it off the track on the grass to a service access. The right thing to do, leaving a car on the outside of that bend, is almost as bad as fluids on it.
