Copying files from Sky Plus?

As per title really guys, I know it is possible to copy programmes recorded on Sky Plus, but does anyone know how to do it & what equipment is needed?

you need this:

firstly you will have to disassemble the box to get at the hard drive, remove it and connect it to the pc.

if it a normal sky+ box you will need a PATA usb hdd caddy.

if it is a sky+hd then you will need a SATA caddy, as the newer boxes use a different hard drive interface.
