Can't see it happening myself.

Noise concerns, cost, and the fact that Silverstone has a contract for several more years seems this is very unlikely to get beyond a proposal only.

It won't replace Silverstone anyway, but there are other current races it could replace such as Singapore, Germany or one of the two Spanish races.

Suppose it's a similar idea to the V8 Supercar circuit round Sydney's Olympic Park.

More bks from the dwarf in an attempt to annoy Silverstone again? Idiot. IMO.

Second British round of the GP, taking in sights including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, track in and around the Olympic Stadium/village. I think that'd be a great idea.

That would be a very long track.

Reported track length of 3.15 miles, I think.

Shortest route from the Olympic stadium in Stratford to Westminster is 7miles, one way. Closer to 8 miles if you go further to Buck House.

The 3.15 mile track doesn't inlcude the Olympic site that you mentioned.

I think some people are getting confused between the proposed central London F1 GP proposal from Santander that no-one took entirely seriously and the entirely seperate proposal for a "street" track around the Olympic park and stadium (although I don't remember the stadium being part of the original proposal)
