Has anyone seen this yet??? Just been in WH Smiths and clocked it.

They are showing pics of the new "esprit" on test round hethel. Not convinced. It looks like the mutant baby of an elise and mazda RX8.

Nothing like a lambo.

Might be ready for 2006 alledgedly.

According to the article it said that the yellow car was a four seater elite or an excell.
That was my understanding at least.

similarly i saw that article and seem to recall tha it, on first sight at least, looked more like a modified version of a Vauxhall VX220 mixed with an elise. i do think though that it was mentioned as being a new excell type car. incidently I was at the factory last week having work done on my V8 and asked them about it, they refused point blank to comment saying that such things were kept secret, even from them, they even doubted it was pictured at Hethell, saying it was alledgedly seen near by. Although i did note a slight 'smirk' as they said this so i got the distinct impression that at most, it's an elaborate sham and at least it's a modified elise / vauxhall. If it is supposed to be an Esprit replacement, it is a huge departure, which has lost everything 'Esprit' about it.
