Ride height adjustment / sump protection
Discussion
Hello all,
I have a 1999 Sprint with a Vauxhall 1800 8v. The clearance below the sump is under 3" and hates any form of speed bump and the likes. I have Billsteins all round and they are adjustable. I am just a fairly sedate driver (well the speed limit is so much fun in a Seven and I feel like I am really moving along) and do not track the car. Should I crank it up a little? Any other sump protection without sacrificing too much clearance please?

A rough guide is whether a wine bottle will roll under the sump. If its does then its okay! It might be a good idea to have it set up properly so its not just adjusted for ride height but how the weight is distributed on the wheels when you are sitting in the drivers seat (flat flooring)
