Sealey es450 engine stand

Hi people I'm new to the forum. I've been looking for an engine stand for a while and ended up buying one of eBay it's an es450, does anyone have one of these? I'm not sure if it's a copy or not as the build quality isn't really up to scratch or is this how sealey stuff is? Theres a weld thats porous, swarf where the box has been cut, no paint inside the box? Cheers mike

Also does anyone know if threaded rod would be ok to mount the engine to the stand? Would it be strong enough? Cheers again mike
