Just got this in my inbox - 5 years servicing and warranty is pretty good for Alfa. I just need the money for a new one...

Dear Mr 1979

Palmers Alfa Romeo have been tasked with a "Double Deal Challenge Day" by Managing Director Danny Palmer. Our challenge is to sell double the amount of cars sold last Thursday. Therefore this Thursday 19th July we must sell a minimum of 8 Cars.

To enable us to achieve this, there will be never before seen savings and no sensible customer offer will be refused. Plus you will be still able to take advantage of our other offers including:

0% APR Finance
5 years Free Servicing*
5 Year Warranty*

These savings can only be offered for orders placed before 7pm Thursday 19th July and are limited to the first 8 cars sold, so this offer will based on a first come first served basis so please act quickly to take advantage of this great opportunity and contact our sales team now on 01442 232300 to book your exclusive appointment.

Yours Sincerely
Paul Usher

True, but if you were 99% on getting one anyway, that email would be a nice surprise!

There's interest free offers plastered all over their website on new and old vehicles - room for negotiation on a cheeky offer!

I couldn't afford it! The only reason I'm on their radar is because they have done some warranty work on my (new to me) 159.

The 'Alfa Giulietta HP Plus' deal (0%apr, 5 years complimentary servicing, 5 years warranty) is available until the end of September from any dealer... so not necessarily any rush wink

The 'Alfa MiTo HP Plus' deal doesn't include the servicing bit.

I'm out of touch, then. My 159 (59 plate) is only 3 years warranty, and assumed it was still the same for all Alfas nowadays.

I guess Kia's influence is spreading on the dealer back-up side of things.

This is a popular tatic to generate footfall. They just want to sell more cars, it doesn;t matter whether they are new or used they will try and sell you something if you show an interest.

Seen it and done it all before.

Wasn't 5 years+ the point at which 159s began falling apart?
