Thoughts people? I'm leaning towards Agate grey but would like to avoid a black interior as is pretty boring!

Any worries about the pebble seats getting marked? Am feeling some red seatbelts might liven things up a little (and match the brakes) so would fit quite nicely?

Thanks - looks awesome smile

Correct me if i'm wrong though, but that isn't full leather spec is it? I was looking at the full leather (i.e. completely pebble seats).

Correct I say I was driving to save some money she said the contrast would be better !

I have to agree, it is much better than I expected in the flesh

keep seat belts black,

swap shiny plastic trim with brushed aluminium interior package, and center console trim .. IMO, would look great going from dark, mid and light

keep the pebble grey seats clean by wiping regularly with baby wipes

I would avoid the red belts (if I were to spec another car) and go for silver.

I have taken a long hard look at pebble and my conclusion is I could not live with the cream carpet in the UK, it would be fecked 4 months of the year.

I also wear jeans alot and would be wary of the rub-off onto light cream seats. Pebble would work better in countries not covered in shaite and mud like ours.

Having said all that, the combo you are considering looks pretty awesome!

Not sure baby wipes can keep denim blue off light coloured leather... smile

Completely agree with black is boring but I have gone for agate - red belts - black interior and even a red sports chrono clock. Should pick up this weekend with sports exhaust I might add. Black is boring but practical, holds a good resale value, does not age and fits in with all the other black in the interior ie black plastic steering wheel cowling which looks st and cheap with all the other colours around it on any car. I love pebble agate but in demo cars I have seen granted nobody really cares for demo cars but it muckys up so easily so you will always be über careful in crappy weather. I will post pics when it comes for reference for everyone - I know how hard it is picking colour / interior options as do most on these forums - at least ordering one now you get a few extra photos to help you choose not like us and ordered before we even seen the car.

Picture for illustration! I thought it looked great - would the pebble seats really be "that" susceptible to marking?

Yes yes yes. Unless you live life like a complete anally retentive retard. And trust me I am one of those so it would mess with my mind over and over and over and over again.

Ha ha yes, although the deal is I was clean the outside of the cars ( a lot !) and she does inside because that involves a Hoover so I reckon she is comfortable with one of those because I make her get a lot of practice in the house!!!

Just treat the seats with some G techniq L1 leather guard when you first get the car. It's brilliant at preventing dye transfer from jeans etc and keeps a light coloured interior looking good. I treated the interior of a family members BMW X1 which has the pale cream design line interior and two years later it still looks virtually like new with only infrequent wipe downs with a warm, damp cloth required to remove any marks or dye transfer.

You can help to protect the light coloured carpet by giving it a coat of Scotchguard which you just spray on and allow to dry.

Ah thank you - very useful to know! Feeling a little bit more comfortably about pebble now...

Still unsure about the red seatbelts - think they're really needed to maintain a more sporty look over just a grey car!
