Sneaky keyword advertising? Have we gone all apple?

I saw it earlier whilst browsing on the mobile site but it has invaded the full site too.

very sneaky advertising non? and a bit irritating.


Oh and incase anyone attempts to blast me, my definitions are up to date, just haven't run a scan recently

I had similar the other day, it was an add-on in IE. I'll try to remember how I disabled it...

Something called funmoods does this, had to disable it myself, seems to come bundled with some freeware.

It attaches itself to add-ons, mostly it embeds itself in adobe flash player. The opt out via the website doesn't work to get rid of it. Usually you have to disable/delete the relevant file and reinstall it.

The only way I could find which add-on it was in (on a couple of occasions on different PCs) was to disable the add-ons one by one and then refresh the page that was showing the ad links after each individual add on had been disabled. When the links disappear that's the one to lose. Once you've identified what it's tagged into you can get rid of that and reinstall if necessary.

It's definitely nothing to do with PH.
