Hello, me again!!
The wiper rubbers on my Chim are knackered so I bought some DIY cuttable ones from Halfords. Can I just replace the rubber strips or should I have got blades as well?

I replaced my blades and in doing so cracked the plastic tubes that carry the water and spray it on the screen, now when I spray the windows I get soaked! Just something to look out for if you change the blades.

just replaced the wiper arms as they were really scratched and the plastic bit that covers the nut had gone white(new ones come without the spray bars so got the new type from Leven - brilliant and a lot neater ) plus new blades...
Wiper arms £10.50p ea from HHC
blades £6.50 ea from HHC
Leven spray blocks - £13.00ish Leven

Cheap as chips and look great...

Recently had same disintegrating wiper rubber problem.
Thought about the "cut your own" refills but couldn't be bothered.
Nipped into Kwikfit who replaced both blades/rubbers for me (Champions I think) for about £15. Used the old fittings so no problem here. Excellent service.
