Correct running temperature?

I have just got my first Porsche, a 996C2. What I would like to know is, what is the normal running temperature for one of these? The manual says 'in the middle of the gauge.' Mine runs around 90-95 degrees, which I would have thought is a little hot(?)

Mine have also run bang on 80

Mine runs at bang on 80 too, unless I'm stationary in traffic, when the needle creeps to the right of the 80 mark. Probably due to the warm weather right now. Never goes higher though and drops back down once you start moving again
