Any one running EBC yellowstuff pads?

Just put these on my db9 and now my car sounds like a train when stops! Not just a slight squeek this is actually an embarrasment to drive!

Any one else have similar problems?

I put EBC reds on and they were the same for the first 500 miles or so, albeit yellows are a softer compound (non ceramic) and should take less.

Assume you have followed the correct bed in process? Lots of high speed, hard stops. Repeat as many times as possible for the first 50 miles or so.

I swap my originals for the Yellowstuffs on trackdays and they have been fine, no squeaking, but that's probably not much of a comparison.

If they're that awful, make sure the pins are all firmly tapped in place in the calipers.

An otherwise excellent firm in Derby didn't tap them home on my V8V once and I had the symptoms you describe.

If the yellow pads are anything like the reds, they have a bedding in compound on the surface which should wear off in a couple of hundred miles.
