After around 12 years and 6 TVR's I'm about to defect to the dark side, no not another Porsche, a Merc.
Although I have had a great deal of pleasure whilst trying to keep on top of my Cerbera I agreed a trade in price today and I've listed my car in the classifieds as I'd rather it went to a private buyer than some trader taking a big mark up on it in a few weeks time.
This is a pretty decent car if not everyone's colour, its a real love it or hate car. After a month or so under the covers I had it out on Monday, there's nothing quite like it for clearing the outside lane, it was overfueling I suspect, going great when pushing on but not smooth, I'm sure someone will know what to do to sort it out, cheap car if anyone out there can complete by the 23rd?

I've bought an SL55 AMG that I have been looking at since April when I tried it out, at the time I thought I liked that a lot, and the plan was to keep the Cerbera and buy a £20k early example however after much debate, mainly with myself, I bought the 07 one and too make ends meet the Cerb's a gonner!

Nice. Have you got a warranty? Worth having.

I am looking at a brand new C63. On a lease its as cheap as chips.

The SL is being supplied by a MB dealer and comes as an approved MB car with a 12 month warranty, pains me slighly to say it but its quicker, sounds good and is quite comfortable - please note I'm the wrong side of 50 - thats my excuse anyway!

That is supposed to be a blinding engine. Still a bit of a leap from a Cerb in terms of the overall experience, but sure you'll enjoy it, for a while... wink
