A Jaguar question....
Discussion
Its the style of Jaguar badge that Jaguar Heritage use on all their branding and clothing.
The logo/badge was not registered until 08 April 1994 by Jaguar Cars Ltd but could be found on a range of items such as this V12 block from the 1980s. After 1994 it was included in the logos of Jaguar Heritage (the trading name of The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) and Jaguar Classic Parts amongst others.
It is probably inappropriate to include it on C/D/E-Types as I don't think it was used in period on the noses of these cars? - but I am sure someone will be quick to correct me with a period photo

C-Types get a round Growler with the words "Jaguar Cars" above and "Coventry" below.
The exception to this is Tony's baby. The period photos in the C-Type Register show the hexagonal bonnet badge. Interestingly the pictures of the 1953 cars show XKC-051 & 53 with no bonnet badge, but XKC-052 has the round growler.
XKC-054 doesn't have any badges.
For D-Types the situations is more mixed. Some of the, few, period photos I have show them with no badges other have the hexagonal badge above the roundel for their race number. Others, with no race number roundel have the hexagonal badge just above the mouth.
