With the recent thread on how many cylinders have you got and the fact I am looking for a small economical car for the commute rather than the V8 that is the current mode of transport, (and a slow day at work) got me thinking on what variants of engines I have owned.

So far I currently own and have owned

Inline 4
Straight 6
V6
V8

Obvious omissions are
V16
V12
V10
5 cylinder
3 cylinder

All these combinations except the V16 are achievable without having millions in the bank so let's see if anyone has owned all cylinder combinations in their driving career.

...and a wankel, which is like playing a joker in this game.

ETA also today I'm driving a flat six, and the chap who owns it has a V twin. So you need to add a few to your list.

I knew I would miss some out. Tried staying away from bikes but what the hell. It has an engine and wheels so all good in my book.

Did not know if it had been done before as what should you put as a search term that did not give a million results. (I'm sure someone will prove me wrong)
