Driving home tonight and both the speedos dropped to Zero for about 2 miles then I looked down again and up came the stick. Sorry for the technical term and also the digital one.

They just both started working again as if nothing had happened..

I here you all saying the joys of TVR, yes I totally agree and I've only been an owner for about a month .

Any clues I read an old thread and there was a mention of something similar and it was sorted by a "New Transducer" whatever one of those is ?

As usual guys all feed back gratefully recieved !

Picture now hosted on my profile of my pride and joy. :O)

Sounds like a problem with the speedo sensor this is located on the rear diff blue cable coming from it.

It could require cleaning.

Yes, that'll be the transducer. My first one went very early (less than 1k miles) and the second is now showing signs of packing up (6k miles). They are, BTW, currently out of stock at the factory. I would recommend remembering the approx rpms in relevant gears for the usual speed limits otherwise going past those cameras without a speedo can be a bit scary!!

The figures are rounded down for license preservation.

Mine's currently blowing it's fuse after a long journey. I heard there were supply problems with these "'cause they're used on the T350", whatever difference that makes ???

I think I'm currently on my 4/5th.

And I'm on my 6th oil pressure sensor.

Cheers,

Andy.
