Petrol or Diesel?

Looking at a 96ish Range Rover with upto 100k. Im n oy looking at towing or anything and will probably only be used occassionally! Which should I go for?

Either.
Makes no difference if your not using it much.
Just find something you like.

Diesel Range Rovers add new depth and dimension to the meaning of the word "slow". Get a petrol and have it converted to LPG.

With a V8 its a great car, and a loverly noise...


Any one that puts a slow noisey smelly diesel in a rangey should be shot...


if you worried about mpg ( and make sure you do the miles for it to make a noticable difference) get a (properly) fitted (and certified) LPG conversion.

I will have a petrol me thinks! Got a TVR at present so I would miss it! People keep pratling on about reseale of petrols!

The BMW straight six diesel is fine, but it does need chipping.
