GT3 at Bedford

Hello,

Can someone tell me if a standard 997.1 GT3 will pass the 101db noise test (and drive by) at Bedford?

My friend wants to bring the porker but is worried about failing the noise test/drive by.

I've seen plenty of GT3s (stock, and otherwise) on Bedford without issue. Will be fine!

If you're worried though you could always pop down to your most local track and get a sound test first.

The car was tested at Castle Coombe and registered 97 I believe.

It'sthe drive by that worries me. If you have seen plenty then I guess it will be fine.

They're very easy to spot so you can short shift or just lift slightly when passing if you've been flagged for noise on a previous lap or pass...

But as I said I very much doubt you'll have any issues even at full whack

It depends how permissive the noise tester is being for a 101 day. I'd take a 6mm / quarter inch vacuum cap with you just in case (use the search if this makes no sense - it has been covered in a few threads).

Bedford isn't actually a licensed "race circuit" it's classified as a corporate entertainment venue thus the very strict noise regs. Not disagreeing with the overall sentiment though of course
