My Beautiful Mabel

Today (This afternoon) Mabel the travelling cat will be having her final adventure.

Mabel is my fluffy family and has travelled all over the UK with me in her special travelling harness.

She has adventured up Scottish hillsides with me in the snow sniffing the wet bracken sometimes cadging a lift on my shoulders.

She has won everyone's heart who has met her. Her gentle nature, her kind smile and her rough licks.

She has woken me up in the night for play and food, for fuss for belly rubs.

and I have love her every minute and am thankful when she chose me nearly 5 years ago as her new best pal.

I am going to stop now as I am beating myself up. Thanks to one and all for their kindness when I have posted here.

. So so sorry LM, we knew this day was approaching but it's still so hard to accept. I know absolutely with out a doubt that you have done everything you can and helped her as much as you can but Mabel has decided it's time to say goodbye and that is what you need to help her with now. Take care

I feel for you - we went through this just a few weeks ago with Molly - hardest descision I have had to make as she was only 8/9 and still sooo loving. At least they are pain free now.
