Ideas required for "quirky" wedding car...
Discussion
Hey all,
I've been given the rather unenviable task of trying to find a quirky and different car for wedding hire for my sister's wedding.
Requirements are...
Able to seat five or six
weird and or wacky (old shape fiat 500 limousine would make her laugh!)
maybe available for self-drive hire (so I can drive them all and be part of the journey)
wanted for may next year.
available to the Berkshire area.
I'm struggling to find any decent ideas, quirky and weird isn't really my department! Googling wedding car hire just brings up far too many results so I'm hoping you folks here might come up with something to help me refine my search.
Thanks.

Went to a wedding last weekend where the bride and bridesmaids arrived in a VW bus very similar to this. It looked superb and I hadn't seen one used for weddings before.

I drove one for my sister's wedding. Crap to drive, rattly and slow. She liked it, but now I have an intense hatred of all VW camper vans.

While I agree its not a bad choice, I've been to 3 this year that have had camper vans.
Turning up in a Porsche was actually quite unusual for our wedding given how many camper vans I've seen!

Will your sis be travelling in the car?
Yes she will.Garlick said:

She had already thought of this but struggled to find one that'll seat enough and be available when she needs it. They are often available to hire for the weekend though and still remain an option thanks.

Some impecunious student friends of mine borrowed 3 minis (classic ones), one red, one white and one blue. The passenger seat was removed from the bride's car to allow her dress to fit in. I thought it was waaay cooler than a boring Rolls Royce or one of those awful faux-vintage kit car things.
